“Here’s the outside/here’s the scene”
It’s so strange. I’ve only been writing art songs for a fraction of the time I’ve been a music professional. So it’s still exciting every time, especially performing for strangers. That’s not the strange part. The strange part is the audience vibe since I’ve been doing it this way. It’s like: “Wait, what?” and then “Huh!”
I’ve always felt different, and it’s very satisfying to just be that way. I think people are hungry for that.
But I’m not sure anyone knows what to do with that.
Any chance of you quitting smoking to support your lungs and vocal chords in this endeavor?
Yeah, I’ve been learning to roll my own cigars!
