Sanded with 80 (revealing the bullshit $50 piece of domestic birch plywood we got that was supposed to be solid plies, NOT a microscopic veneer on the outside), 120 and 220. Ready for staining…and/or leather I’m thinking. Hah?! Might be a luxe touch! Tie it in with matching leather lampshades on the sconces?
