Bill O’Reilly was on Letterman again tonight. Clearly, Dave appreciates the priceless comedic value in such profound arrognorance (neologism? Call Starkist!). Dave brought up Glenn Beck’s recent comment, “If you take what I say as gospel, you’re an idiot.”
Naturally, Bill first insists that Dave misquoted Beck, before defending his fellow Fox “News” host by saying “He just wants you to do his own research.”
So there you have a sample of the other 40% of Dave’s estimation of Bill from their 2006 interview, “about 60% of what you say is crap.”
Dave did, in fact, misquote Beck. The actual quote is “I say on the air all time, ‘if you take what I say as gospel, you’re an idiot.’”
