What a massive improvement paneling the benches made! I just got used to the filthy, dinged-up recycled flooring we made them out of. 3rd coat of poly will be ready for sanding tomorrow, as well as the adhesive on the rubber baseboard on those tricky curves.
One of the first things I noticed when I boarded my first Spartan was how fragile they feel on the inside despite the tank-like construction of everything else. From the new subfloor up, I’ve tried to over-engineer every element of the rebuild. Aiming for drunk musician-resistant 🙂
